Elon Musk, born in june 28, 1971, Pretoria, South Africa, is an South African-born American entrepreneur, who co-founded the electronic payment Paypal and formed SpaceX. PAYPAL AND SPACE-X
Musk attended Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario, and in 1992 he moved to the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, where he obtained bachelor’s degrees in physics and economics. He joined graduate school in physics at Stanford University in California, but he left after only 2 days because he felt that the Internet had greater potential to change society than work in physics studies. In 1995 he started Zip2, a company that provided maps and business catalogues to online newspapers.
In 1999 Zip2 was acquired by the computer manufacturer Compaq for $307 million, and Musk then founded an online monetary services company, X.com, which slowly became PayPal, which is special in transferring money online. The online trade eBay bought paypal in 2002 for $1.5 billion. Musk was long convinced that for life to survive, humanity has to become a multi planet species. Nevertheless, he was not satisfied with the huge expense of rocket launchers. In 2002 he founded Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX) to create more affordable rockets.
Its first two rockets were the Falcon 1, launched in 2006, and the larger Falcon 9 launched in 2010 which were designed to cost much less than competing rockets. A third rocket, the Falcon Heavy, launched in 2018, was designed to carry 117,000 pounds to orbit, nearly twice as much as its largest competitor, the Boeing Company’s Delta IV Heavy, for one-third the cost.
SpaceX has announced the beneficiary to the Falcon 9 and the Falcon Heavy: the Super Heavy–Starship system. In 2006 Tesla introduced its 1st car, the Roadster, which could travel 245 miles on a single charge. Unlike most previous electric vehicles, which Musk thought were stodgy and uninteresting, it was a sports car that could go from 0 to 60 miles per hour in less than four seconds.

Musk asserted that the Hyperloop would cost only $6 billion and that, with the pods leaving every 2 minutes on average, the system could lodge the six million individuals who travel that route every year. However, he said, between running SpaceX and Tesla, he could not give time to the Hyperloop’s development.

Musk’s 1st marriage was to Canadian author Justine Wilson in the year 2000 and then to Taulah Riley, an English actress in 2010, following his divorce from Justine in 2008. He remarried Riley and the marriage lasted till 2016. From his 1st marriage, Musk had twin boys and then triplet boys. His 1st son Nevada died of unexpected infant death syndrome, when he was a 10-week infant. Musk was also evidently linked to actress Amber Heard. In 2018, he began to date Canadian musician Grimes, who announced that she was pregnant with baby X Æ A-12. The Tesla founder is the father of 7 children, with baby X Æ A-12 being the youngest.
